Dear student,

Welcome to the project site for the Travel project - Let's take a trip abroad.

During this project, you will be working on two final products in groups of four. One of these products is a travel brochure on a country of your choosing. The other final product is going to be a presentation in which you tell something about the country you made your brochure on.

Task 6 Making groups

You're going to create the perfect trip abroad.  For this project, you need to work in groups of four students each. You'll need to present your planned-out trip to the country of your choosing to the other students at the end of week 5.

 

Every group has 4 students. One of them is the Travel agent. He or she is the leader of your group and makes sure you stay on task, edits the final product and presents most of the information in the final week. The other students are Tour guides and they will be creating the bulk of the travel information for the travel brochure.

 

Task 7 Country study

Goals

You can write simple information about a country that you like.

Task 5 Writing - Travel brochure

Deze week gaan jullie een 7 daagsreisschema voor in je Travel Brochure maken.  


In het reisschema beschrijven jullie de volgende dingen : 

  • Welke steden,bezienswaardigheden en restaurants jullie willen bezoeken. 
  • De reistijden tussen de verschillende stops. 
  • Overnachtingsplekken
  • Vliegreizen 

Natuurlijk moet je niet vergeten om je koffer goed in te pakken voordat je gaat. In jullie reisbrochure beschrijven jullie tenminste 20 dingen die jullie nodig gaan hebben tijdens jullie reis.

Deze week werken jullie 3 overnachtingsplekken uit waar jullie tijdens de reis naar toe zouden kunnen gaan. Deze omschrijf je in hele zinnen (25-50 woorden) en voeg je toe aan de reisbrochure op Prezi.


Voorbeeld

This Manhattan hotel is located across the street from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. The hotel offers access to the adjacent fitness club which includes a gym and a tour desk with ticket services.

Each air-conditioned room at the Hotel Pennsylvania provides cable TV. Guests also have access to a work desk, alarm clock, black-out drapes, iron and hairdryer in every room.

The Pennsylvania Hotel includes a 24-hour coffee shop and a restaurant. Guests can make transportation reservations and acquire theater tickets at the hotel. Guests will also have access to a safety deposit desk at the front desk, any time of the day.
