Part 1: Introduction

Dear student,

Welcome to this digital lesson on the WikiWijs platform. Here, you are going to learn about a new grammar topic: "The Passive voice". You are going to go through the entire lesson by yourself, starting from part 1 all the way to part 7. You have the whole lesson to do that. There's enough material to help you understand and practise with the "Passive voice". Read the instructions carefully, complete each part and most importantly... have fun! :)

Also, your teacher will be present the entire time. So if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Part 4. Instructions

What do I have to do? Complete part 1-7 in WikiWijs.
With whom do I do it? You work on the WikiWijs lesson by yourself (individually).
How do I do it? You start with part 1 and continue all the way to part 7. Click on each part in WikiWijs to access it. Each part has one or more activities. To complete a part, you must do all the activities. Make sure to read the description (omschrijving) per part.
Who can I ask for help? You may ask help from your teacher.
How much time do I have? You may spend the entire lesson on the WikiWijs. So approximately 40 minutes.
What is the result? If you followed the instructions and completed every part, you should have achieved the following goal by the end of this lesson:
The student can form affirmative sentences in the Passive voice.
What do I do when I am finished? Then you may start on your homework for the next lesson.

Part 5. Practice

In part 5, there are three exercises. You must do two out of the three exercises. Fill in the blank is mandatory (verplicht). From the other two, you may choose yourself which one you'd like to do.

Fill in the table: beginner level (easier compared to the other two exercises)
Fill in the blank: intermidiate level (not too easy, not too difficult)
Rewrite an advertisement: advanced level (more challenging compared to the other two)

* If you find the "Passive voice" difficult, you are advised to do the "Fill in the table" and "Fill in the blank" exercises.
