Hello!

How are you doing? I am fine!
My holiday just started so I am free to do what I want. I love holidays!
When do you have your holiday?

You asked me about my friends in your last e-mail so I will tell you something about them. My best friends are Jayme and Mark. Jayme is a tough chick with a kind heart. People at school usually think she is really mean because of the way she looks at people, but once you get to know her she is really sweet. She doesn't like many people so I am glad she likes me! Mark has been my friend since kindergarten, we have known each other for ages. He is a funny fella and he is smart too! Then there is Asima, who lives just down the road. She likes ballroom dancing like me, so we usually go there together. She lives with her mother, her father passed away last year. This gives us something to talk about because my mother died too. My latest friend is Carl. He moved here from the USA because of his father's work. He usually tries to mock me and at first I thought he was serious. Luckily he explained it wasn't meant in a bad way, but that it is just his kind of humour. Well, I get it now and we have lots of fun.

What about your friends? Do you think boys and girls can just be friends, or does it always end up with one being in love with the other? I have male friends.

Talk to you later!
Nathalie
