Introduction

The subject of this double period is shoe shopping.

  • Make groups of three or four.
  • In your group, discuss the following questions in English:
    • Where do you buy your shoes and clothing?
    • How much do you usually spend on a pair of shoes?
    • Do you think shoes are important?
    • Describe your favourite shoes (this can be a pair that you already own or a pair that you'd really like to have).
    • Together, make a list of 10-12 different English words for types of shoes.

Toelichting
Deze les valt onder de arrangeerbare leerlijn van de Stercollecties voor Engels voor havo en vwo, leerjaar 1 en 2. Dit is thema 5 'Shopping'. Het onderwerp van deze les is: Buying shoes.
