Grammar
Goob job with the vocabulary!
Unit 6 has quite a bit of grammar:
- Irregular verbs
- Past simple of to be
- Possessive
- Some / any
Next, we're going to have a quick recap of the grammar. It never hurts to refresh your memory.
I have added a quick summary (samenvatting) of all of the grammar taught this unit.
In order to continue, you'll have to answer at least 4 out of 5 questions correctly. This is to ensure you understand the grammar.
Irregular verbs
There are many irregular verbs. We have practiced these quite a bit.
The past simple of to be is extra irregular:
- There isn't just one form, but two: was and were.
- Questions and negative (ontkennende) sentences don't use did + verb, but was or were.
