You are going to read 3 stories: Jonathan, Cheryl and Jeanette talk about their dream house.
After reading the stories, you are going to answer true/false questions.

Jonathan

"Oh, my dream house? It is on the beach. You have a great view of the ocean and the beach, and it should be really big - a big house - with maybe an elevator, and maybe at least three cars and a cinema in the house as well.
That would be cool."

Cheryl
"To describe my dream house: it would actually be very simple.
It would probably be a small apartment in a large city with a lot of
things to do - maybe in Barcelona or some city like that.
It would probably be a simple apartment in a nightlife district
with lots of entertainment and culture around, a very lively scene."

Jeanette
"I would like to have a house big enough for me and my family.
The house must be in a quiet area and near public transportation.
The house must be close to schools and stores.
The house should have a basement and an attic.
It should have a yard for my kids to play in.
It must have two bathrooms and a dining room.
The house does not have to be new, but it must be
nice and attractive."

Step 2 - Listening

Soul Rebel
You are going to watch a video of John Givez.
He explains about personal songs on his new album “Soul Rebel”.

First read the questions.

  • What does he say about this album?
  • What does he say about some of the songs?
  • In what order does he discuss the songs?
  • About how many songs is he very excited?

Watch the video and answer the questions.
