What are we going to do today?

Nice to see you again! I hope you had a wonderful Autumn Holiday. In this lesson we are going to explore some countries that are in The Commonwealth of Nations. Well, some of you may know what The Commonwealth of Nations are and some of you may not know what they are. That is ok because we are going to do research and learn about them.

The project

What are you going to do?

You are going to do research and prepare a PowerPoint presentation on a country which is part of The Commonwealth of Nations. You will be put in pairs by me and you will also get a country to present.

Your presentation is 3 minutes long and it has to have these topics:

  • The weather
  • Population
  • Animals
  • Food
  • A national holiday
  • One famous person

You are allowed to use 1-2 pictures for each topic in your Powerpoint presentation. The pictures will help the rest of the class see what you are presenting about.
