Introduction

The subject of this double period is jobs.

  • Form groups of three or four pupils.

What would you like to do when you finish school? What do you need to do to get a dream job? That is what you are going to talk about.

On your own think about:

  • What is your dream job? Why?
  • What do you like about it?
  • Is there anything you do not like about your dream job?

In your group discuss about:

  • Your dream job.
  • Possible advantages and disadvantages.
  • In your group, who do you think has the best dream job? Why?

Step 6 - Writing

Real job versus dream job

You are going to write about your (summer) job in English.
If you have no job, use being a student as a job.

Task:

  • Write a comparison between your real job and your dream job.
  • Write what you like about your real job and your dreamjob, but also what you do not like.
  • Write in between 100 and 150 words.

Ask your teacher how to hand the task in.
