Gebouwde Omgeving

Engels
Welcome!
This is the English part of the module 'built surroundings'. Use the menu on your left-hand side to navigate through the assignment and its criteria. Read it carefully and make sure your final product meets all requirements. In you have any questions; let me know!
Good luck!
Assignment 1: The leaflet
Congratulations! You finished your design and you are ready to sell this beautiful apartment to anyone who's interested. But how do you draw the attention to your design?
Create a leaflet in which you show interested people what you designed, why this is exactly what they need and how they can reach out to you to buy the apartment.
Of course; your design is not only for Dutch interested people. Anyone who's interested should be able to find some more information, and that is why you're going to write this leaflet in English.
Good luck!
Assignment 2: An email
Your leaflet has certainly drawn the attention of potential buyers, and they've contacted you via an email. They would like to know some more about your apartment and it's up to you to answer them correctly. You'll find their email below.
Answer the potential buyers with a polite and professional email. Make sure you answer all of their questions and use correct language and grammar. If you need additional information on how to write an email, click the header 'additional information' in the menu on your left-hand side.
The email:
Dear sir/madam,
We've seen your brochure about the apartments you are going to realise in the city of Hardenberg and we are very much interested in buying one of them. However; we do have some questions for you, before we make the final decision.
1. How many apartments will there be in one building?
2. Is it only for foreign people, or are Dutch people allowed to buy one of the apartments, too?
3. Could you give some extra information about the surroundings with regards to facilities such as shops, schools, etc?
We hope you can answer these questions for us.
Kind regards,
The Johnson family.

You email will be assessed following these criteria bulletpoints:

Final assessment
Well done, you've finished both of the assignments!
Both assignments are rewarded with a grade. These two grades will account for 50% of your final grade. So, of your leaflet is awarded with a 7 and your email is awarded with an 8,5, you'll receive a final grade of 7,8. (7+8,5=15,5 --> 15,5:2= 7,75 --> final grade 7,8).
This means that both assignments will lead up to one, final grade. If one of the assignments is very difficult for you, you will be able to make up for it with the other assignment. Of course; you work together, so you'll hand in one leaflet per group. If you have eny further questions, don't hesitate to ask me!
