Task
Writing a well-informed formal letter about a global issue.
Goal:
Executing a complex assignment with shared information resulting in the writing of a well-informed formal letter and becoming a global citizen. By dividing different topics/subjects you have the responsibility to educate eachother.

During this cooperative assignment you work with your group. This means that it is required for the group to be active, independent and responsible. You will learn when you effectively process the gathered information with the rest of the class. The teacher will guide this process as a coach.
Practicalities:
It is important that you choose a topic you want to work on with people you want to work with. However, it is also possible for the teacher to make the groups so they are well-balanced.
Method and activities:
Create groups of 4. With this group you choose a topic you want to investigate. Design a small research question. Educate yourselves. Think of a fun way of teaching your classmates. Give your lesson.
During the class you teach about your topic you:
- Use part (max 10 min. of the documentary) with an activity
- Use a related article with an activity (read, understand, new vocab)
- An interactive part (an experience)
