Task 1. Transport
There are many ways to travel to the UK. You can travel by boat, aeroplane or by train. Click on the blue link below and read the text on the internetsite about transport in the UK. If you’re finished, you can answer the questions. The answers to the questions are in the text on the website.

Task 2.
In every language, there are words that are singular (enkelvoud) and plural (meervoud). To make a singular word plural in English, you add +s or +es. However, sometimes, there are exceptions. These have to be studied. Look at the Basics page for more information in the PowerPoint or video.
1. Look at the text “transport” again. Find 20 of the plural forms and write them down. Tip: there are forty-one of them for you to find.
2. Now that you have found the plural forms write down what the singular forms (enkelvoud) are. Make sure to check your spelling.
Task 3.
1. If you look at all the words from task 1. Do you think you use much or many for those words? Explain why as well.
2. Now choose the correct one. Pick much or many.
3. Now try to make 4 sentences with much or many. Use both.
Task 4.
Link the words on the right to the correct means of transport. You can number each means of transport starting with the 'luchtballon' on the left, and continuing clock-wise (tel met de klok mee).

Task 5.
Which of these are connected? Write down full sentences.

Task 6.
Which one is the odd one out? Please explain why this one doesn't belong in a full English sentence.

Task 7.
Complete these sentences using the question tags. Tip: you can watch the video and read about question tags in Basics.
Task 8.
In the last few lessons, we discussed the present continuous, bezittelijke voornaamwoorden, plural forms, much/many and question tags.
Choose 1 grammar topic and make your own summary. You can use the summary below as an example.
Is this a little bit difficult? You can choose to write in Dutch. Do you think this is easy? Try to write your summary in English.
