This manual describes the chemical cleaning procedures that can be implemented on the Mexplorer unit at the
end of a pilot test, dependent on the type of water or effluent that was tested in the unit.
The components of the Mexplorer pilot unit are not intended for extended contact time
with oxidizing, acidic, or basic solutions. It is therefore essential to carefully respect the
contact times indicated in this leaflet. Only the elements in contact with water (pump,
piping, filter, hydraulic fittings, safety valve, valves) are designed to withstand the cleaning
solutions mentioned in this document. The structure, front panel and electronics of the
Mexplorer are sensitive to contact (liquid, vapour) with these products. The user must pay
particular attention to maintaining the integrity of the pilot.
