I am pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity to join our latest UNESCO campaign: the #DanceForEducation campaign. Recently, UNESCO and Goodwill Ambassador A’Salfo, alongside his internationally acclaimed Ivorian band, Magic System, unveiled a new version of their hit song ‘Magic in the Air,’ coinciding with the declaration of Education as the African Union’s Theme of the Year 2024.
This revamped version, titled ‘Education in the Air,’ aims to promote the transformative power of education, emphasizing its role in shaping a more just and sustainable world for future generations.
The campaign will reach its peak on May 25th, Africa Day.
To participate:
Option 1) You can either dance to the beat of the new revisited song and upload your video in any social media platform. Use #DanceForEducation #ASPnet and tag @Education2030UN (for LinkedIn and Twitter) and @UNESCO
Option 2) Or share this post message with your followers:

I am thrilled to share the UNESCO campaign video has already reached an incredible milestone of 2.4 million views! This confirms that showcasing education is getting more and more popular. Now, here's the challenge: how many more people can you reach with your video?
Personalize your involvement by adding your name (for example, on a sign or on a t-shirt). It's a great way to showcase the meaningful education-related work you're doing on the ground while growing your audience base.

The Symposium 2024 at a glance
The Opening Ceremony will take place in Athens, at Pierce – The American College of Greece theater (as in 2023) on the 17th April 2024 at 18.30 (local time).
The delegations will depart to Ancient Olympia on the 18th April 2024 and they will return to Athens on the 21st April 2024. The estimated arrival time at Athens/ Athens International Airport on the 21st April is 14.00, so you are kindly requested not to book your air tickets for your return before 15.30.
Since the theme of the Symposium 2024 is “our Living Heritage” we have included in the program a workshop about the Mediterranean Diet and a visit to an Olive Mill and a Winery.
Also, after the sightseeing tour, delegations will not only have the time to see the town of Olympia, but they will also have the time to have lunch in the city at a restaurant of their choice (at their own expense - this lunch is not included in the travel fee). They will return by bus to the International Olympic Academy after lunch (more details will follow).
Information is already uploaded on the site
The final program of the Symposium will be uploaded by January 2024.
Due to high demand, if you are interested in participating in the Symposium, it is highly recommended to submit the participation form as soon as possible, since the total number of the participants is limited.
