Case 1:
In the documents below you will find information about feeding and water quality for different breeds at the Zone.College.
On August 10, the data was collected in connection with the feed rates and the results are striking. Production for a number of systems seems far from optimal.
- Study the data of the 2 documents.
- Is there anything to say about the quality of the data?
- Determine for which fish/ tanks production could be increased?

The learning outcome of this pilot week:

LO1 Interpret data on water analysis and make decisions according to production strategies.  

The assessment criteria for pass:

  1. Describe the chemical, biological and technical processes occurring in an aquaculture system (and how they affect water quality).

  1. Explain the influence of water quality parameters on the production potential.

  1. Propose possible adaptations in the production strategy in order to control water quality.
