a. (alone or pairs) Draw or paint an alternative cover or set of illustrations for your book. Check a few books in the library to see which elements typically belong on a book cover. Your design shows that you've understood the essence of the story. Describe in your comment in Seesaw which choices you made in your design and why.
b. (alone or pairs) Curate a Spotify Playlist to go with your book. For each song, explain which part of your book is a match for the song and why (do this in Keynote or Pages, or edit a video with the intros, you choose!). Your playlist should have at least fifteen songs. Your selection and explanation show that you've understood the essence of the story.
c. (pairs or whole group) Film a scene from the book in which you play the main characters. If you need additional cast, ask any of your friends. Videos should last between 1 and 3 minutes, ideally. Obviously you'll speak English in the video. Feel free to use props or the green screen. Your video shows that you've understood the essence of the story. Describe in your comment in Seesaw which choices you made in your video and why.
d. (pairs or whole group) Make a stopmotion film about your book. If you use text (written or spoken), do so in English. Your video shows that you've understood the essence of the story. Describe in your comment in Seesaw which choices you made in your video and why.
e. (alone) Curate a shoebox museum about your book. Fill it with at least five objects relating to the book. For each item, attach a tag in which you explain the relation of the object to the book. There is a splendid example of a shoebox museum in the Library, feel free to have a look. Your shoebox museum shows that you've understood the essence of the story. Describe in your comment in Seesaw which choices you made in your design and why.
