Here you can find all the Basics documents you need to study the grammar and words. Open the documents and save them in your English folder on your Drive (in het mapje Engels op je Drive). You will write your answers in a Google Doc which you need in class for every lesson.
You can find exercises for the grammar all over the Wikiwijs. The grammar is marked with an orange colour. This is grammar you will need in order to use the English language. This way, you can see how often it is included and how important it is to other exercises too!
All the grammar you will learn is used in everyday English and will be part of your Masterpiece. In the Can Do Statements, you can see what you will use this grammar for and what you will learn to do.
In case you finish early during these lessons, you can start working on your Masterpiece or study words. Always consult your teacher and let them know what you are doing.
The grammar subjects you will learn more about are:
- present simple
- question tags
- comparatives
- past simple
- relative pronouns
- place before time
- prepositions
You can find words in blue all over the Wikiwijs. These words can be difficult or new words that you need to know to do these exercises. Learning words is a big part of learning English because you will always need these words to understand and use English for all skills.
You can find a Word document with the difficult words of Theme 2 below. If there are more words you think are difficult, feel free to add them to the list!
Afgezien van de moeilijke woorden op de Wikiwijs, zijn er ook lijsten met de meestgebruikte Engelse woorden. Dat is handig! Klik op de onderstaande link om naar de woordenlijsten te gaan. Deze woordenlijsten bevatten de meest gebruikte woorden in het Engels en zijn daarom enorm belangrijk om te beheersen. Deze moet je gedurende het jaar bijhouden. Leer en herhaal 3x per week een deel van deze woordenlijst.
