Van de cirkel is de straal  2 cm.
De omtrek van de cirkel bereken je als volgt:

oppervlakte cirkel = straal² ×

oppervlakte cirkel = 2² ×

oppervlakte cirkel = 2² ×  = 12,566≈12,6

oppervlakte kleine cirkel = ⋅ 0,92 =  2,544  ≈ 2,5cm2
Je hebt dus 10,8 - 2,5 = 8,3 cm2 goud nodig voor één oorbel

Voor twee oorbellen heb je dus 8,3 x 2 = 16,6cm2 goud nodig
De totale kosten zijn dan 16,6 x 5,25 = 87,15 euro
