Listening
You can understand words and basic sentences about yourself, your family and where you live.
Reading
You can understand names, words and basic sentences.
For example: in announcements, on posters and in catalogues.
Having a conversation
You can join a simple conversation about yourself, your family or about where you are from.
You can hold a conversation when your classmate is willing:
- to speak slowly
- to repeat sentences
- to formulate the words
- to help you formulate what you're trying to say.
You can ask and answer simple questions about things that you need.
Speaking
You can use simple phrases and sentences to describe where you are and to describe the people that you know.
Writing
You can write a simple postcard.
For example by sending a holiday greeting card.
You can fill in a form with your personal details.
For example: your name, nationality and address onto a registration form for a hotel.
