school/where to live (and consequently the school area?)
subject choices – possibly more science than arts (or vice versa)
students own ideas but they must give reasons.
food/extra curricular activities, friends, good/bad behaviour etc.
Choice everywhere and we expect choice, e.g. at the supermarket, we expect to have at least 7 or 8 cheeses
to choose from etc.
Students own answers but in many countries (e.g. Asian countries students begin learning English/ learning
a musical instrument at a very young age).
Encourage students to really focus on the advantages and the disadvantages.
