Summary: This film is about Lara Jean, she is a normal teenager. Lara Jean has 2 sisters, an older sister and a younger sister. At school she is an insecure girl just like anyone else. Her mother died when she was very young, but their father is doing well as a single parent. And just like all teenagers, Lara Jean has her secrets. She keeps letters in a secret box, which she wrote when she fell in love with someone. In total she has written five letters. Each letter is in an envelope and is addressed to the boy in question.

One day the letters appear to have been found by someone. The one who found the letters has put all the letters in the post. Because of this Lara Jeans old and new flames stand one by one in front of her nose. Her biggest nightmare has come true. She wants nothing more than to lock herself up in her room for the rest of the school year. Then she decides with Peter, one of her old crushes, to enter into a fake relationship. In this way she hopes to convince her current love that the letter he received is outdated. Of course there is some blossoming between Lara Jean and Peter.

My opinion: I loved this movie to watch. The film is entertaining, but stays within your expectations. There are not really unexpected things happening, but that certainly doesn't make the film less fun. It is a film that seems to last much shorter than the one and a half hours that this film counts. I do like high school films with a lot of drama, so I certainly liked this film.
