The book series are about Harry Potter throughout his school years in Hogwarts, in the Order of the Phoenix Voldemort has just returned. Last year he saw a boy named Cedric getting killed by Wormtail, a follower of Voldemort, and Harry was  in a battle with Voldemort. He has nightmares about that moment and his cousin Dudley is mocking him with that. When Harry and Dudley are fighting they get attacked by dementors, Harry saves him and Dudley from the attack, but because Harry isn’t old enough to use magic outside of Hogwarts, he gets expelled and has to take place in a trial by the Ministry of Magic. When he says that he used the patronus spell because of the dementors, almost nobody believes him, but after a witness confirms that there were dementors he doesn’t get expelled and he can go back to Hogwarts. Back at Hogwarts al of his classmates make fun of him because they don’t believe Harry when he says that Voldemort has returned. Ron and Hermione believe him when he says that Voldemort has returned, even when nobody does and stood up for him. Harry feels very alone because he can’t really talk to anyone. A woman who was in the courtroom when Harry’s trial took place, named Dolores Umbridge is the new teacher of Defence against the Dark arts and the ministry of magic is interfering with Hogwarts. In her classes she doesn’t use magic but only books, because the Ministry of Magic and herself think that it isn’t necessary to use magic because you won’t need it. Ron, Hermione and Harry want a new teacher who uses real magic, to prepare them for what is out there. So they form Dumbledore’s Army, students join the army when they hear that Harry can perform the Patronus charm, and Harry is named teacher. Umbridge hears about this and makes another student group to find out any information about Dumbledore’s army. After a few lessons in the Room of Requirement, Harry teaches all of his classmates the Stupefy spell and they are working at the Patronus. At night Harry has nightmares about the father of Ron, he is attacked by a snake while working. Harry is getting rushed to Dumbledore and Dumbledore send someone to get Arthur. When harry gets another dream about a prophecy who describes his relationship with him and Voldemort, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville, and Ginny who are all part of Dumbledore’s army decide that they should go to the Ministry of Magic to get the prophecy before Voldemort does. While at the Ministry of Magic they get in a battle with Death eaters, Voldemort’s followers. The members of the Order of the Phoenix arrive to help and rescue Harry and his friends. In the battle the prophecy brakes, what made the Death Eaters mad and Sirius Black, Harry’s Godfather gets killed by Bellatrix Lestrange right in front of Harry. Harry runs after her and wants to perform a spell on her, but when he can’t do it Voldemort appears, at the same time Dumbledore arrives and he and Voldemort gets in a battle. When the battle is over the Minister arrives and he sees Voldemort disappearing. The news gets out that Voldemort is back, and everyone believes him.

Personal opinion

I really like the Harry Potter series, the books and the movies. The Order of the Phoenix is my favourite because in this book it gets complicated and the drama starts. I really like the books because it is told really nice and it takes a lot of fantasy to come up with a story like this. The details in the books are also really nice. I sure would recommend the books and movies to others. But you have to read the former books because otherwise you don’t understand the storyline.
