WHY?
to speak, write, read and understand spoken language, you need words. They are the bricks in the wall of language.
WHAT?
That's why you will learn a list of words every week, English to Dutch AND Dutch to English (only KBL) about the four subthemes:
@My World: Social life
@My World: Daily life
@My World: Family
@My World: Me
. You will also use them in the assignments and you will be tested on them the week before the PTA-test. The mark for this test goes on the 'Gemiddelde Overhoringen' in the PTA.
HOW?
To make things a little bit easier for you, we use the programme Quizlet. It keeps track of what you have learned so far and which words you find more difficult to memorize. It also offers different ways of memorizing words.

your teacher will instruct you how to get to your lists.
You will write 4 different assignments, one for each week and each with a different subject. Your teacher will mark all posts in the end, using this RUBRIC, which is practically the same as the one used for the Writing Test.
For your third post, you will write a short comment on Chris' video. Check out his video to see other comments.
