Open your books and do exercises: 11- 12- 13 - 14 on page 134- 135.

 

You will work on your own, but you are allowed to ask questions.

Task

Create a video ad

Make an advertisement (ad) about an interesting science or technology invention. Show how it works and why it’s useful for people.

 

What? Create a video ad to promote a new technology invention. The video should show us the features of the technology and show how it can solve a problem.

How? Work in groups of four to create the video ad.

Questions? Ask your group members first. If you still have questions after that, raise your hand for help.

Time? You have 2 classes to complete this task.

Done? Submit your video ad online via Magister mail.

 

First: Think of a technology invention that you want to display in the video ad. Then share it with your group members. Then decide as a group which technology invention you are going to create the video ad about. (Denken Delen Uitwisselen).

 

Follow these steps:

  • Pick a Topic:

    • Choose a science or technology invention (like a robot, a smart device, or a cool app).

  • Do Research:

    • Find out what it does, how it works, and why it’s helpful.

  • Plan Your Ad:

    • A video of max. 1 minute (short and fun).
    • Write your ideas:
      • What is it?
      • Why is it useful?
      • How does it help people?

  • Create Your Ad:

    • Use Canva.
    • Add pictures, a catchy title, and a short message.

  • Submit Your Ad:

    • Send it to your teacher via Magister mail.

 

Extra exercise

Group 1 students have to create an Instagram post about the technology invention that you have chosen for your video ad. Use at least 3 theme words and write at least 25 words. Create your Instagram post in Canva. Submit your work in Magister (email). This assignment is optional for the other students.

How? Individually.
